Booking and admin for mobile and service businesses

Peak Software builds booking and admin systems for South African service businesses: mobile services, salons, cleaners, pet care, trades and more. Customers book by suburb, staff get their day on their phone, and quotes, deposits and reminders run themselves. Everything carries your brand.

Who it's for

Any business that sells time, visits or appointments, and has outgrown a paper diary, a spreadsheet or a booking tool that doesn't fit.

  • Mobile services: car valets, pet grooming, beauty, massage, tutoring.
  • Salons, studios and clinics with several staff and rooms.
  • Cleaning, garden and pool services with regular visits.
  • Pet care: walking, sitting, boarding and grooming.
  • Trades: plumbers, electricians and installers who quote before they book.

Bookings by area, and sensible routes

If you go to the customer, a booking isn't just a time slot. It's a place, and the next job has to be reachable in time.

  • Customers enter their address, and only the areas you serve can book.
  • Different days for different areas, so staff aren't crossing town all day.
  • Travel time between jobs, built into the calendar.
  • Call-out fees or minimums by area, if you use them.
  • A daily route for each staff member or van.

Staff and resources

  • Each staff member's hours, skills and time off.
  • Vans, chairs, rooms or equipment, booked like staff so they're never double-booked.
  • Staff see their own day on their phone: addresses, notes, customer history and directions.
  • Before-and-after photos and job notes saved to the booking.
  • Simple check-in and check-out, so you know a job started and finished.

Quotes and deposits

  • Instant prices for standard services, from your own price list.
  • Quotes for bigger or unusual jobs, which turn into a booking when accepted.
  • Deposits or full payment by secure link, if that's your rule.
  • Invoices and receipts sent automatically after the job.
  • Cancellation rules applied the same way every time.

WhatsApp booking

Most South African customers would rather WhatsApp you than fill in a form. A WhatsApp assistant on your business number can answer questions from your prices, check what's open, book and remind, day and night. It hands the chat to you when a customer needs a person.

Your own app, or a web booking page?

Not every business needs its own app. A fast booking page on your website, plus WhatsApp booking, is enough for many. Your own app in the App Store and Google Play makes sense when customers book often, such as weekly cleans, regular grooming or memberships, and you want loyalty, saved details and push notifications.

We'll tell you which fits during the first call. Then you get a written plan and one fixed price before work starts, and we build in stages.

We work remotely with service businesses across South Africa.

Questions

Can customers book by suburb?

Yes. The system checks the address against the areas you serve, and only offers times when you're working in that area.

Can staff get their day on their phone?

Yes. Each staff member sees their own bookings, addresses, notes and route for the day, and nothing else in the business.

Do I need my own app?

Not always. A web booking page plus WhatsApp booking suits many businesses. Your own app pays off when customers book often and you want loyalty, saved details and notifications.

Can it take deposits?

Yes. Bookings can require a deposit or full payment by secure link before they're confirmed.

Can it send reminders?

Yes. Customers get confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp or email, at times you choose, which cuts down on no-shows.

What does it cost?

Every system is quoted on your spec, with one fixed price before work starts. The optional care plan starts at R800 a month.
