Business systems that run your admin for you

Peak Software builds custom business systems for South African companies that have outgrown spreadsheets: a pipeline for leads, quotes and invoices, client portals, dashboards and automation. Each system is quoted on your spec with one fixed price, built in stages, and you own the code.

Signs you've outgrown spreadsheets

  • The same customer details are typed into three places.
  • Only one person knows how the main spreadsheet works.
  • Quotes take an evening to put together.
  • You find out about unpaid invoices when the bank balance is low.
  • Leads go cold because nobody remembered to follow up.
  • Clients phone to ask for updates you could have sent them.
  • You pay for several tools that each do a bit, and none of them connect.

What we build

  • Pipelines and CRMs: every lead, quote and follow-up in one place, with reminders.
  • Quotes and invoices: built from your price list, sent in a click, with payment links and reminders for overdue accounts.
  • Client portals: clients log in to see their documents, jobs, reports and invoices.
  • Dashboards: sales, jobs and cash flow on one screen, updated by themselves.
  • Automation: the steps that happen after a sale, a booking or a form, done without anyone touching them.
  • Staff tools: job cards, checklists, timesheets and approvals on a phone.
  • Asset and stock registers, including tap-to-find NFC tags.

Working with what you already use

Most businesses don't want to throw everything out. We connect the new system to what already works, such as your accounting package, email, calendar, payment provider or WhatsApp, so data flows between them and nobody types it in twice.

If a ready-made tool already does the job well, we'll say so. Custom software is worth it when it removes real hours of work or real mistakes.

Built in stages

  • A short call about where the time and the mistakes go today.
  • A written plan: what the system does, who uses it, what it connects to, and the stages.
  • One fixed price, agreed before work starts.
  • Stage one is the piece that saves the most time. You use it while we build the next.
  • 30 days of fixes after each launch.

Yours to keep

The system runs on accounts in your business's name and you own the code and the data. No per-user fees to us. We build to POPIA from day one: the least access possible, access by role, and a record of what the system does.

The optional care plan, from R800 a month, covers monitoring, fixes, support, maintenance and hosting. We work remotely with businesses across South Africa.

Questions

Should I build custom software or buy something off the shelf?

Buy off the shelf when a product fits how you work and the fees make sense. Build when your process is what sets you apart, when you're stitching several tools together by hand, or when per-user fees grow faster than the business.

Can it connect to my accounting software?

Usually, yes. Most accounting packages used in South Africa allow invoices, payments and contacts to be synced with other systems. We check yours during planning.

Who hosts the system?

It runs on hosting accounts in your business's name. On the care plan, we look after the hosting, monitoring and maintenance for you.

Can we start small?

Yes, and we recommend it. The first stage is usually the piece that saves the most time, such as quotes or a lead pipeline. The rest follows once it's working.

How do you price a system?

After a short call, we write up a plan and give you one fixed price before work starts. Bigger systems are split into stages, each priced in the plan.
